Edge board, corner guard, carton angle — one product
UAE buyers use five names for the same thing: edge board, edge protector, corner guard, carton angle and angle board. All of them describe an L-profile board of laminated kraft that sits on the vertical edge of a pallet load so the strap bears on board instead of on your top carton. We make it in L, U, V, wrap-around and self-adhesive profiles.
For stockists and traders
A stockist needs three things from a manufacturer: a size range that covers what the local market asks for, containers that can carry a mix of sizes rather than one size per box, and specifications written down so the stockist can answer a customer’s question without phoning India. Jebel Ali’s free zone is also a re-export base for the wider Gulf and East Africa. A stockist there can hold our standard sizes and move them on to smaller markets that would never justify a full container from India.
Trade agreement and origin
India and the UAE have a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in force. Whether a preferential duty applies to your tariff line, and what origin paperwork it needs, is for your customs broker to confirm on each shipment. We supply the certificate of origin your broker asks for. We do not publish duty rates on this site because they change and a wrong figure costs you money.
