Ranges are what the plant can produce. Your order is made to one point inside them — tell us the pallet footprint, stack height and strap type and we will pick it with you. Dimensions switch between mm and inch above.
The gap between placing the board and strapping the load
On a manual line, the board goes on, the operator walks round the pallet, and the strapping happens some seconds later. On a tall stack, or with any movement in the stack at all, the board is on the floor before the strap arrives. The usual fix is a piece of tape, which means a dispenser, a consumable and a second or two per corner — multiplied by four corners and a few hundred pallets a day.
A self-adhesive board removes that step. Adhesive is applied to the inner faces at manufacture with a release liner; the operator peels, places and moves on. The board is held until the strap takes over.
Test it on your own surface first
This is the one variant where we actively ask customers to sample before committing to a run. The adhesive is intended to hold on kraft carton surfaces and to release from them. On printed, laminated, varnished or shrink-wrapped surfaces the behaviour can differ — sometimes it holds less well, occasionally it holds too well and marks the print on removal.
Ask for a sample, put it on the actual carton you ship, leave it in your warehouse for a few days and then pull it off. That five-minute test is worth more than anything we could write on this page.
What it does not replace
The adhesive positions the board. It does not carry transit load, and it is not a substitute for strapping. Anyone selling it as one is describing a different product. Store the bundles out of direct sun and off a damp floor, and if your stock turns over slowly tell us — we would rather advise on order quantity than have adhesive ageing in a warehouse.

It is chosen to hold the board in place, not to bond permanently, so it normally comes away with the board at the receiving end. Printed or coated cartons vary, which is why we ask you to trial a bundle on your own carton before ordering in volume.
On lines where one operator is placing boards on a moving stack, and on tall stacks where a plain board falls off before the strapping head arrives. It removes a tape dispenser and a second pair of hands.
It is applied to the inner faces of the board and is meant to release from kraft carton surfaces. On printed, laminated or coated surfaces, ask us for a sample and test it on your own material before you commit to a run - we would rather you test than be surprised.
Yes. The adhesive is there to hold the board in position during handling. Transit load is still carried by the strap.
